why do mexicans come to the US illegally?

is the process of moving here legally especially long or expensive or exclusive?

it's very hard to immigrate to the states, and most of these people don't have proper education and work skills that the government seeks.

funny, they practically beg canadian healthcare workers to come down and work. canadians can make a killing doing this.

it is difficult for most to legally move in this country. and in most cases takes a lot of time. i had a friend though not mexican who tried but failed to take her visa and moved back.

yeah i know why they want to be here i just didn't know why they go through all the trouble of coming over illegally.

Although coming to the United States isn't neccisarily difficult it's just a hell of lot easier to walk accross the border. For example, my family immigrated using reufgee status. The refugee quota is almost never filled to full capacity, but if you're an educated person who has potential to contribute to the American society it isn't that hard to get in.
However, if you want to come to the United States to leech off welfare, lower the minimum wage, and use public programs without ever paying taxes, then you should not, and hopefully are not let in.
