well, if you are by some chance serious, you can also go to food pantries you know
from what i understood on my local news they were using statistics from the amount of people who go to food pantries and soup kitchens to compile their data and arrive at the percentages
though you do raise a good point
if anything, rather than the amount being less, as bush suggested, the number of people who are hungry is more likely to be higher than the numbers show as there are certainly some people who don't go to those places for food
