I have been seriously pissed at Bush for years. And even moreso at the spineless repub leadership in Congress. And as far as Foley goes, that sodomist should never have been allowed in the party in the first place.
The repubs deserved to get their asses spanked. Ronaldus Maximus must be smiling right now, because the American electorate purged the party of many squishy repubs, and it is forcing the repubs to rethink trying to be leftists. If the repubs are smart, they will go back to basics and start trying to become a Conservative party.
The repubs needed this rap upside the head, and I for one am damned glad they got it.
The first thing they need to do is find some good, rock-ribbed Conservative leaders, who can streetfight toe to toe with the demos. Dennis Hastert was a fucking joke.
