Just now. I voted the working party line, which was all the same candidates as the Democrats except for one state senator.

When I signed in, they gave me a card on which was handwritten my name, my voting booth number, and the number person I was to vote at that booth, and told me to give it to a person stationed right next to the booth (which was about a foot-and-a-half away from the table where they gave me the card). It was stamped THIS IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE SECRECY OF YOUR BALLOT, or words to that effect. I wonder what that was about - I can think of a number of things it could be for, mostly either tampering with the votes or preventing tampering with the votes. Did anyone else have this?

Well some good news here in FL. Katherine Harris (rep) lost to Bill Nelson (dem). I'm sure you all remember she was the cunt that handed Dubya the presidency in 2000.

It looks like the Republican is going to win Governor. Which is okay because he seems pretty moderate. The democrat running apparently has the 2nd worst attendance record, and they dragged that over the coals so I'm not to shocked he's loosing.

On the radio they said the AP has called Illinois Governor Rob Blagojevich the winner. The news people here are stunned that he was declared the winner so soon. If that holds up, looks like he crushed the Republican running against him.

There are a lot of races that have been called with only about 25 percent reporting that aren't landslides. I guess the people know what they are doing though? lol I'm no math expert haha.

I read a lot of Republicans weren't eager to support her.

GOOD!! I'm glad she lost.

They go by exit polling. In '04 early exit polls had Kerry winning but as the night went on the election started to go Bush's way.

I voted and I'm very nervous. The idea of Michele Bachmann being sent to any national political body is terrifying. I hope it turns out well.

I'm going to have to leave my house because I can't even watch the news. I'm a total wuss, but whatever.

I voted for Ted Nugent for one local category because the guy running was running has no opponent. I could not just give him my vote because he lives near me and I think he's a prick.
