It is terrible! The #1 problem facing Americans today!"….. Oh no, our kids aren't safe any longer!!!! What shall we do?



Well, idiots, you need to learn how to comprehend facts and not base everything on your idiotic emotions. More Americans die each year from lightning strikes than they do from school violence. I'm not aware of any panels being formed to debate what needs to be done about lightning induced deaths.



More children drown in bathtubs than are shot in school. We will not be seeing any talk shows where morons drone on and on about how bathtubs aren't safe, and we need new laws and new safety measures, to stop this terrible plague on our children!

That's because lightning deaths are accidental, unpredictable, and not on the increase. School shootings require an intention behind the gun, which is why people get more upset by them than lightning strikes. For many people, it's a lot harder to dismiss the death of a child by human hand than by some fluke of nature, because the former seems like it should be preventable.

Seriously, don't call people assinine retards. Without wishing to open the floodgates, it seems like you're the one who's not thinking. You could start by thinking about this and work up to other things.

First off, people are NOT garbage. People are often treated like it though which is the problem. When people aren't cherished they act out. One of the ways these (younger) people are acting out is by manifesting Their suffering by shooting/killing others. Admittingly not a lot but still completely tragic. And those tragic things are the things we are here to learn from. To whine or cry out revenge about them is to cloud their meaning. To cloud their meaning is to ignore them, to ignore them is to be doomed to repeat them. That's the tragedy.

The reason political ideology fails is precisely because 95% of people are "garbage", if for "garbage" you read "inconvenient". If people weren't human, if they were easily categorisable, then every political system would work. It's the fact that people are unpredictable, emotional, reactionary, etc. that necessitates political systems, societal organisation etc.

And that's what makes politics so exciting!
