| | | What would happen if a guy took an estrogen pill? I don't know anything about hormones really, but I was curious - if testosterone is the hormone that causes men to develop facial hair, could a guy take an estrogen pill to reduce the amount of testosterone in his body?
I am an eighteen-year-old male, and I would literally have to shave multiple times a day to keep a smooth face - and I want a smooth face more than anything. I want to be a guy, but there are some female features I would like (not breasts, etc.)
Does anybody know anything about any of this? |

| | | I don't think that would be such a good idea.
Try getting your face professionally waxed or something. |

| | | I know what you mean.. I hate hate hate shaving, It's the worst thing ever. I love having a completely smooth face but I never have one for much longer after I shave. And shaving causes bumps and ugly red skin and stuff and I never get it completely smooth, It's just really nasty. and I can't use facial creams and stuff because of hair being in the way. It's the #1 thing I hate.
So far I've tried three different type of hair removal creams made for the face, one even for black men. none of them worked, and all except the one for black males left my face in a lot of pain.
I've heard that men shouldn't wax/epilate their facial hair but then again I've heard that some do. I don't know what would happen but if it left it smoother longer than shaving I'd like to try it.
I really, really want permanent facial hair removal but it's really expensive I've heard. Like, 500$ per treatment (and you have like.. 6 treatments.)
But I dunno about taking the estrogen, I'm just scared of taking pills that say they are designed for women such as weight loss pills and stuff. I dunno what it'd do to a guy, haha. I think they put Estrogen in that guys protein shake in John Tucker Must Die and he goes insane or something. |

OWWUCH, can you imagine how swollen a guy's face would be after a full waxing.
The pages have turned.
When you're a kid all you want to do is be able to shave. Then you have to do it everyday, and realize the chore. It's just part of grooming. I doubt an estrogen pill would effect that on you first anyways. You'd better ask a doctor that one before eating the pills like they're pez. |

| | | uh, dont do that.
youll start developing female features: breasts, shrinkage of genitalia (i think, cant remember), your bodyfat will be redistributed (probably make you more pearshaped with fat around the hips) etc.
theres a reason why male to female transgendered people is on an estrogen for months/years before (if they ever get one) their genital reassinment procedue.
the only wayt to get rid of hair is the permanent hair removel. |

| | | Taking estrogen won't work. If it did then people would know about it by now as a way to reduce facial hair. Laser hair removal is very expensive but it is an effective way to reduce the thickness of your hair so you will need to shave less often. It's a myth that it's permanent.... it's not guaranteed to be permanent. For many people it just makes the hair grow in thinner and slower. |

| | You'd eventually develop female secondary sex characteristics. You'd grow boobs, get more body fat, have a higher voice, etc. Personally I think hairy men are more attractive than squeaky ones with tits |
