| I find it kind of sad how you almost have to articulate what you're saying these days lest you be considered "emo". Even things like "I hate to sound emo but I had an argument with my mom last night and I'm really upset". People are becoming more and more hesitant to open up and talk about their feelings in order to comply with the trend of "anti-emo". There's a culture that considers it "cool" to lock up all your feelings to come across as strong and charismatic. I mean, don't get me wrong, I accept that alot of people are naturally inclined to keep to themselves, but it's these people that make a big effort to do so that strike me as arrogant.
