oh rooobie, this is not good. why are they doiong that? you are supposed to be well into your healing process by now. that is something they normally do right after the fracture? right?? whya re they doing that?
I had a metal rod in my leg for a year. i broke the two leg bones clear throug. the top one was poking out. tibia and fibia. i had the rod taken out cause i didn't need it anymore after healing and it didn't even trigger the alarm at the airport. i was dissapointed. the removal also removed my limp.
why are they doing that? i;m sorry. don't be scarrred.

it hasnt healed. most of the fracture site has healed (it splinter fractured - 3 places). but one segment has such a large non-union... im in a lot of pain.
oh I'm soo sorry. do they not give you any pain drugs?? the few times in my life i have had unbearable physical pain, i've just instinctively done chanting and it helped me through. i'm no doctor but it seems they should have just inserted the plate from the beginning.
yes, like i said i had a metal rod placed in, and then later removed. not exactly the same as a plate, but it similar.
have they been warning you this may need to happen?
how did you break your leg? that sounds NASTY. alot nastier than mine. see, this is why i love the stories. they make me feel better. you are alive and obvoiusly still kicking (lol).
