another birth control thread

Okay so i have recently started the pill and was on my period and after what I thought it was over, I've had various cycles of spotting. I was just wondering if I should be that concerned or is it just normal. I really would appreciate the advice thanks

its normal with my pill but they're all different. didn't your doctor give you any background information about your pill?

When you first start the pill, your cycle is totally irregular and out of whack for a couple of months. Then it evens out.

Usually within the first couple weeks of starting the pill you will get spotting. It's completely normal. Also, if you've missed a pill and had to double up the next day you may get spotting.
I wouldn't worry about it unless it goes on for over a month.

Actually, my doctor really didn't give me any kind of info except it's safe to run together. I basically read the box about when to start and stuff like that.

Thanks girls for the advice. It's just the spotting is a pain in the ass especially when I'm used to my period going off and never seeing it again for 28 days lol.
