My husband (who is fat and 50) swam a mile in aid of sports relief today
He took 43minutes and 28 seconds which is about the speed I would walk it.
He wore his little red sock that the runners who run a mile wear.

that's awesome, good for him! he shoould keep it up so he can be a trim 50.

He swam again this year - for Marie Curie Cancer Care this time 1.5K in 42 minutes

Somehow, thats damn cute.

He's getting faster! I think if I was in a shallow pool where I could stand up every now and then my time would be faster than that, but if it was open water I would drown and never post again.
I was just now watching the best swimmers in the world swimming just under a mile. Yay for Poland.
