zoloft

i'm being treated for panic disorder, so i just got put on the damn stuff, and i had a few questions:

- is it normal to feel in a cloudish daze?
- fatigued?
- extremely weak?

seriously, it makes me feel like i want to die
but at least it stops the panic attacks

More often than not, it's normal to feel dazed/weak/tired/discoordinated when first starting out on zoloft, but make sure you consult your doctor and describe these side effects you are experiencing. Have you taken much drugs in the past or have any problems with your internal organs? Have you had in the past, or do you currently suffer from any other personallity disorders other than panic disorder? If so, zoloft may not be for you. These are the kind of things you should check with your doctor, make an appointment immediately.

I've not taken Zoloft specifically, but I heard things like this.
A drug like Remeron or Elevil will make you tired at first and then do something horrible if you ever take it again.

Consider maybe only taking these drugs for a period of time, get the most from it as prescribed by your doctor, and then try to emphasise natural self-esteem to combat the problem next time.

I know it might difficult, but the reward is this is the only way to truely defeat the problem. Drugs can be a tool, but YOU have to be in control of your own life with a clear head.

all that you listed feeling is completely normal at the start, takes about a month to adjust

this is my second six month stint on zoloft....i took it for six months two years ago and weaned myself off, now I'm back and it's making me feel a bit shaky and nervous I notice my hands shake more than I've ever noticed
