Talking Parents. Sometimes ya just have to laugh.

My dad is 82 and resides in very nice assisted living center. He has some serious health issues but his mind is still firing on all cylinders. Well, most of the time.
Today I was visiting him & the director asked to speak with me. It seems that dad has been stockpiling the spending money I give him every month and had a couple hundred dollars on him. He finally decided what he wanted to spend it on. He offered his favorite lady staff member his savings for a "special kind of visit". Fortunately this young lady wasn't offended and found it just too hysterical for words Good, because I could not stop laughing myself
I'm thinking its time to reduce his allowance. My husband said its time to take him to see Air Force Amy at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch. Dad may be up in years but he's still got it going on LOL

glad you have a sense of humour about it

my dad, who is 75, got pished up at the olympics the other day, went off radar for 6 hours and would only respond with "i'm very tiddly" when phoned.

Sounds like your dad is going to live it till the end like mine! Hey, I'm thinking we should all be so lucky to still be interested in the fun things in life by the time we get their age!!

**** yeah, that's how to do it.

I would definitely take him to a *****house if it were me. I mean, the poor bastard. Very nice of his nurse to take it all in stride.
