really strange.. pressure in my mouth?

this might sound really werid but sometimes it feels like there is loads of pressure in my mouth, like my gums and lips and a i have kind of chew on my lips until they bleed to kind of relieve it, oh i sound so strange, and also i get it on my gums by my k9 teeth (is that what theyre called) i have to dig my nails into the gum between the teeth like like slit them in order to stop the feeling of pressure, the only way ti goes is if i keep digging my nail in and i feel the sharp pain instead of pressure. .
i want to know if ANYONE knows what im talking about
because i couldnt sleep for hours last night now my lips look stupid where i have been chewing them a even though a split my gums it still feels pressued

Sounds like Gum disease to me.
I have it really bad when I was pregnant.
[most people suffer from mouth problems when pregnant]
I was in utter agony and like you couldn't sleep.
I just cried for 3 days straight, I ended up going to the emergancy denist on a sunday, they told me I had really bad gum diease and gave me a antibacteral mouthwash.
It took about a week after that for it to completely clear up.

Go to the dentist, in the meantime, go and buy yourself a really good mouthwash.
