Haha, I don't think you can get them for free. Not many people would want to shoot water up someone's *** and deal with the fallout for free.

It's more of an alternative health care thing that I doubt a general practitioner would do. I wouldn't mind trying it myself, it seems kind of fun, but sadly, it's expensive. Also, there are schools of thought that think it's totally unhealthy and a giant scam....so for sure do some research before actually going and doing it.

I would personally never have it done. You have a layer of mucous in your gut, it ensures everything moves through and protects the gut wall from bacteria. You wash it away, you will get ill. We have evolved since the dawn of time to keep our own guts clean without firing water up it. The NHS will NEVER give it free to you because its a giant, health damaging scam that will end up costing them more when you have some hideous case of diarrhoea or blood poisoning as a result.

There isn't any legit medical literature that will actually back up colonic irrigation or any of those colonic cleansing procedures. Your body moves everything through naturally; the cells from the GI tract shed regularly... If you want to flush yourself out, just 'fast' for a day by drinking a lot of water.

My dad is a Physician's Assistant at a gastroenterology clinic in the states, so he deals with colonoscopies on a regular basis... He told me that unless I had chronic constipation, I shouldn't consider any sort of cleansing.

It is enticing, though: Flushing away toxins with just one simple procedure.
