no help

A friend of mine has a bald spot the size of a quarter from doing it. She has long thick hair so its covered. She told me she didn't know why she did it, but did when she was alone and stressed or bored.

Do you eat it?

Some people do and its called repunzel syndrome.

Its not digestible - hair-eaters get operations.

I find that interesting for some reason. The end of the ball has a long tail when removed which is why they call it repunzel syndrome.
