20mg did nothing, so after 2 weeks they bumped me to 40mg and then the fun began.
Bipolarz should probably not take prozac.

Bipolars supposed to be given ANY SSRIs without another mood stabiliser to stop them going manic. Same principle with SNRIs like effexor too- serious risk of mania/hypomania unless you are taking an additional mood stabiliser. Different people work different ways eh?

I went in to the walk-in clinic and told this relic of a doctor about my depression. He dumped a months' worth supply of "Pristiq" on me and told me to come back when they were all done. That was about 2 weeks ago and the only thing different so far is a dry mouth and vivid, sometimes violent dreams. Apparently they do take some time to kick in, but I'm very doubtful. I wonder if they just don't create a withdrawel so hellish that you're too scared to go off them...

I feel like I need to go back on anti-depressants even though I hated being on them. I think I suffer from seasonal affective disorder. I dunno, I just feel like an emotional wreck at the moment but I also dont want to admit this to my doctor because once its on my record, its there for life, and my record is getting pretty bad.
