i've never had an abortion but if i had gotten pregnant at 19 i would have seriously considered it. i had my first baby at 30. even with being financially prepared and wanting the baby it was a really hard lifestyle change. you lose the ability to do what you want, when YOU want. you lose a lot of freedom.

19 is really young and i don't think you should feel guilty if you decide you are not ready to be a parent. it is a huge undertaking and something you should really WANT.

Where do you live, that you'd have to travel for a non-surgical procedure?

I'm sorry for your situation. I'd be similarly torn - it's easy to be blasé and say I'd definitely get an abortion when I'm not in that position where I have to decide. I hope your boyfriend is giving you enough support.

I live in Ireland so I'd have to travel to the UK. My bf is being so calm and supportive but I know secretly he's worrying. The way he sees it is that the final decision is up to me. I think he's more worried as to how an abortion would affect me. I do feel sorry for him, it must be so hard seeing someone you love go through something so horrible
