| Laughing at things that make people uncomfortable This goes in the mental part of the forum because:
a -you canīt make fun of it here, according to black mambo
b- it could mean that iīm slightly insane (but probably not)
SPECIALLY with people I donīt know very well, or people I am meeting for the first time, or work people this is becoming a problem. I am concerned because I have freaked people out with my laughter before.
There are certain things I find incredibly funny that seem to disturb people. They make me nervous and make me sort of itch inside and I canīt help but laugh hysterically.
It concerns me because I know someone who laughed hysterically at a funeral. She couldnīt help herself and I donīt wanna be like that.
Example n. 1:
One of the people involved in this story simply chose to never speak to me again because they found it so disturbing that I laughed.
I met them that day and they were talking about this japanese serial killer who ate people and became a celebrity.
He was interviewed in japanese tv and he said it tastes like pork.
That made me laugh for at least 15 minutes, and every half an hour I would laugh again.
Example n.2:
Friends talking last weekend and one of them said something about a man who shot himself in the head and managed to survive and is a teacher. He said he wears a wig to hide the fact he is missing part of his head. I laughed again and everyone looked as if they werenīt pleased. I had to apologyse.
Example n.3:
Like when weīre in the metro and it stops and you get a warning that youīre all gonna be stuck there for a while and people get all moody and mad I start laughing too and I dont like the way they look at me obviously.
So what I mean is
is that normal?
are there any tecniques so I can stop myself from lauging when itīs not appropriate?
