My boyfriend was a stoner when we first started seeing each other, and it definitely put me off and sort of keep him as a casual fuck buddy more than anything, just because it seemed to be all he did all day. But the more time I spent with him, the less he smoked, saying he preferred to be with me. It seems surely if your boyfriend is completely in love with you etc etc, the same should be true? He should be doing it less not more? Mine doesn't smoke at all now, but I don't know if thats just because he grew out of it?

I totally agree with this.

I've had a boyfriend before who I asked to quit and he did but the shit thing about it was he also stopped being social because that was his 'social thing'.. you know? so he became really boring really quickly.

But guess what, yesterday - even though I haven't said anything, just a few comments now and then - he didn't have one cone all day. we were at his mums house and he said it and his mum said 'good boy'.. so maybe they've talked about it because he's noticed I don't really like it ???? seems like a good sign!
