I usually avoid posting to you because you are male and therefore inferior to the dominant group here at KR, but I wanted to include a recent anecdote that sheds some light on the subject.

Of all points that I made over the years at the Coffee Emporium that hit home and appeared in conflict with most of those who I argued philosophy with was this statement: "I have never lied to my wife or any other woman that I've been in a relationship with". THe men of the Coffee Emporium desperately want to prove me wrong--now how smart are they, really?

If you're not a liar, how is one going to advance up the ladder to leadership?

Ophiel, do you think that a guy on Dopamine would lie to his wife by telling her that a 'Jackalope' was actually a real animal ? What influences would make that never-lying-husband ask others not to inform his wife, after years of keeping her in the dark, that the Jackalope was only an imaginary animal created as a hoax by putting horns or antlers on to the head of a jackrabbit.

Would Dopamine influence the husband to continue the jackalope joke on his wife for a long time, so he could get a funnier cheap high, laughing at her ? Just wondering.

Oh, yeah, could Dopamine or Mania be like Ecstasy: where you have overpowering urges to reach out and touch someone, anyone at all,--even if they warn you not to touch them ? Hmmmm........

Could Manic behaviour be confused with someone high on Dopamine ?
