Balance. It is far easier and less courageous in a social setting to agree with the crowd. "Fitting In" is what social creatures do; they want to "look good" to the audience. Respecting the audience is another thing altogether. Those who appear to be "fitting in" and "agreeable" may be back-stabbing and hyper-critical when they leave.

We all have good and bad traits; balancing our weaknesses and strengths is important for mental health.

C'mon, be courageous.... tell us what your good traits are.

I'll go first: my secret goodness.

I put the toilet seat down after use.
Put my socks in the laundry basket.
Smile and say "hello" to strangers.
Listen with interest and curiosity.
Ask questions to show I'm engaged in a conversation.
Scratch the cat when she wants attention.
Pick up trash on the floor in public places.
Give $5 tips at the Coffee Emporium.
Sincerely like most people for their good as well as their bad traits.

edit to add - most of my good traits make me sound like a dog. accordingly, i think i will go with "i am loyal." there.

Habits are a routine and systematic expression of your beliefs and values.
