taken the same kind of pill now for two years. never been ill from it, always had exact periods, take last pill, bleed 4 days later. this month i took last pill 6 days later my bleed started, my moodswings where unbelievable and i was sick and had excrushiating stomach pain. the period wasnt like a normal bleed, it was heavy and thick. i came on on sunday and it was like that till yesterday, now it's normal. i told a mate, who said it's like a misscarriage. any ideas?

you can still get pregnant while on the pill, its very slim possiblity but it can happen. Go to docs they can test you and most likely tell you if you misscarried, due to hormone levels. Depends on how far along you'd be though. Max less than a month if you bleed regularly.. so might be difficult to tell? I dunno.. Not a GP, if I was... woudlnt be on hoeel. com

could be that your pill isn't working for you anymore. It doesn't sound like you miscarried to me, i have PCOS and have had that happen to me a million times before-don't get too stressed out about it, but DO report it to your doc, It may have just been a really bad period, or you might need to take a break from the pill for a while-like a month or so.

Get it checked out, but i put my money on it thats it nothing too serious.
