so i have this recurring abdominal pain that puts me in hospital at least once a month, and i get really bad nausea and vomiting with the pain for which i take cyclizine tablets.
recently i have been having a few seizures, with no obvious explaination. apparently all anti-emetics increase the risk of convulsions etc, and i'm just wondering if anyone has had any convulsions/seizures following the use of anti-emetics?
some of the drugs are: metacloprimide (which i am allergic to), cyclizine, ondanzitron and domperidone.

I was put on omeprazole for my abdominal pain. Thats like a cure all for uclers, too much acid etc...

Well, after a year of taking these pills, I was fine again.

Its horrible aint it?

I'm on Lansoprazole and Esomeprazole to sort mine out... my stomach is shot... My stomach produces too much acid and damages the stomach wall all over again (thanks to a bug i had)... so i get the same crippling pain... i have to go for 6 monthly endoscopy's

you had a seizure after taking maxalon (or however you spell it) which is another anti-emetic right? i guess if the seizures & the pill-taking co-incide (the seizures follow the cyclazine use) then you might be onto something. esp. if you have a reaction to maxalon.
