so i have this recurring abdominal pain that puts me in hospital at least once a month, and i get really bad nausea and vomiting with the pain for which i take cyclizine tablets.
recently i have been having a few seizures, with no obvious explaination. apparently all anti-emetics increase the risk of convulsions etc, and i'm just wondering if anyone has had any convulsions/seizures following the use of anti-emetics?
some of the drugs are: metacloprimide (which i am allergic to), cyclizine, ondanzitron and domperidone.

| | I'm on Lansoprazole and Esomeprazole to sort mine out... my stomach is shot... My stomach produces too much acid and damages the stomach wall all over again (thanks to a bug i had)... so i get the same crippling pain... i have to go for 6 monthly endoscopy's

| | | you had a seizure after taking maxalon (or however you spell it) which is another anti-emetic right? i guess if the seizures & the pill-taking co-incide (the seizures follow the cyclazine use) then you might be onto something. esp. if you have a reaction to maxalon.

I'm off to the hospital soon to get my stomach checked again as ive started being sick again and the excruciating cramps are back... i can hardly move! to cap it off the govt has taken my sick money off me after me failing my medical apparently... i read the transcript thru and i never answered hardly any of the questions... the person made them up for me!!

| | | Are you feeling any better? I've been having some pretty bad cramping lately myself. I'm thinking it might be an ulcer or something. Unfortunately, I have no insurance, so I doubt I'll be seeing a doctor anytime soon. I don't have to go back until December, so I'll probably have to wait until then. |
