what medical term do you use to define a cat with rabies

normie eats shrews, voles, micd, and the point is I think it gave him rabies and had to be put to sleep because you didn't feed him proper food while he was still alive, my cat.

i guess the use for a proper term is no longer that urgent. since he's been killed off, and all that.

The term is that the cat was rabid or that the cat contracted rabies, however you want to put it . . .
I'm really sorry he had to be put down.

I was going to say "soon to be dead," even though I worried that it was rude.

I would've said "hydrophobic", on account of how it's an old-timey word for rabies which also applies to most cats since they don't like water and all, but the moment's kinda passed.

I've never heard the term hydrophobic used for rabies. I guess you learn something new every day.
It makes sense for it to be called that. I think one of the symptoms of rabies is a refusal of water.
