a random customer told me "you are very competent for as young as you look"

and i like when people say i have a unique voice and strange speech patterns. when i've lived with different people they've said that after living with me for a while their phrasing and speaking patterns change to be more like mine which apparently are strange

This has happened to me before, it's quite weird.

well, first, some funny back-handed compliments i've gotten recently:

"you're pretty funny for a girl."

"you look good for how much you eat."

lol.

well, no offense to my hometown area but one probably-not-intentional compliment i've really liked over the years is when people ask me where i'm from because they don't think i seem to be from around here.

i've gotten some really nice compliments from professors, but i feel like an asshole posting them. one of them for sure was probably just trying to **** anyway.

a handful of people have told me that i "get it." i always like that one.

haha i've been told this before too.

Having people I don't know say theyve 'heard im an amazing artist' and want me to help them with something.

that makes me a happy girl
