Do you believe in some sort of teleology? Do you think that every person has a certain destiny or do you make your own life?

It scares the shit out of me thinking everything depends on me and my decisions....
I like to think that there are certain things that are set out for my in my future that will definitely happen for me...

No belief in destiny whatsoever. We make our own luck. I find it pretty empowering actually.

Part of me believes that as insomnia said, we make our own luck. And part of me believes that everything happens for a reason.. I'm a complete optimist most of the time.. so when things go wrong I just think "que sera, sera" and that something better will be waiting around the corner. It's just a somewhat irrational way of rationalising things
