I've Had to Go Off Cymbalta

Because I can't get another prescription untill later today, tommarrow- i'm not sure. My doctor's front desk is understaffed & incompitant.

I've been thinking it may be a good thing to stop now, after 3 years? I wanted to get back on anti depressants after my cat died & i have'nt been grieving in 2 yrs, so why am i on it still?

my pysch is a pill pusher, he'd say stay on it forever. So please tell me what you know .

Don't just stop cold-turkey. Maybe reduce your dose a bit first?

I stopped after a bad experience on Cymbalta. Best decision I ever made.
How long have you been off it?

two days, I'm worried what may happen. I always over-react, tho.

Amity, thank you for your help, but i don't have any more medicine of any kind except legal pot & migraine meds.

Yeah, I am going to second that! Its good advice. Going cold turkey on psychiatric drugs can give some terrible terrible side effects. Tapering it would be much more sensible. Reduce your dose/start taking it every other day etc.
