how do you cheer yourself up?
i can't pretend i'm not utterly lost. i feel nothing. life isnt real. life has been a dream since i got back on the bus to new jersey. i dont feel anything to my core, i dont feel anything, life is happening and im just.....going through the motions. like a fucking wind up toy. out of my control. i dont even have a home. i dont know where im going. i took a picture of myself today, and posted it, i look better than i thought i would, but still pretty bad...so many of my things have been ruined...but its mostly just the self image.......how stupid i have been....how lost i am..how alone i am even if i get to go back somehow.
i dont know what to do.

it must seem ridiculous to everyone here that i have a digitial camera and im whining about being homeless. im staying in someones house right now. if you can call it a house, its so disgusting. im nto supposed to be on this guys computer but hes at work.

How to cheer youself up?

It doesn't sound like a very nice predicament to me. Looking at the world, you've seen some of it, but only part of the picture.

You have taken a step, but you need to keep going. Take it easy, keep your friends close and remain on speaking terms with your enemies. It will end, and there is ALWAYS an alternative. Just two things you ought to remember.

All I can suggest is to take life as it comes, though i suppose that's what you've been doing. And to remember that things could be worse. That you are still living everyday because at some point there will be a turning point, in which the future looks brighter and things will make more sense. There is a reason for most things in life. Think of it as a phase. It can be your thing that you can be positive about.
