new morning after pill thread

grr! the morning after pill.

right so i took it a few weeks ago, maybe like 3 i think. it was fine , then a week later i bled, this wasnt my period as my period should happen this week. the bleeding was heavish but stopped after 2 days, about 10 days later i am bleeding again! i thought this could have been my period (4 days early) but it has kinda stopped now. has this happened to anybody else before? i have taken this before, and had no side effects. in the booklet with the pill it said spotting or bleeding may happen between period, but im just wondering if i will actually have a period?? cause i have bled heavy two times this month so what the hell is going on

Irregular bleeding is common upon taking the pill but call your healthcare provider if you're concerned. For about a month, my cycle was a little wonky after taking the morning after pill but it was fine after that.

ah thanks, so hopefully it's normal. ill just see what its like in a few days and maybe do a test.

is it common to skip your next period entirely after taking the morning after pill? i know that sounds ridiculous, considering what its meant to prevent.. it's just a question...

ive taken it before and it was nearly 2 weeks late but it was alright in the end, if thats any help
