Last year, my boyfriend took me to the hospital because my symptoms were pretty much those of a heart attack.
They never managed to work out whether I had an arrythmia problem or an anxiety attack that night. I'd certainly never had a panic attack that was like that before - I was extremely calm.

My body doesn't ache or hurt or anything when I'm anxious but I get the weird feeling in my stomach and I get really scared because of where I am or who I'm with. It hits me really quick and I freak out.

I have terrible anxiety which is why if I don't leave the house unless absolutely necessary, and when I do I have to be pretty stoned/drunk.

I get heart palpitations, where my heart just really races.. it feels like I have just been sprinting.. this can last for days so is obviously tiring. I was russhed to A&E the first few times it happened as they thought I had some kind of heart murmur or had taken speed or summat.. but no im just a stress head! Im suprised that no one here takes beta blockers.. they regulate your heart beat but are also really commonly used for anxiety.. people are even prescribed them as a one off thing for exams and driving tests sometimes without any previous anxiety symptoms!
