will it actually damage me?
i'm prescribed codeine phosphate for my period pains but i take it too often i think, like, i take it nearly every day for aches and pains cuz it makes me feel really calm and content.i still have some old co-codamol laying around from when i had a back injury and i take that sometimes too.anyways, i found out it's an opiate, class B in this country and can lead to dependency..this worries me slightly.

am i actually likely to get any nasty side effects if i keep taking it?

I wouldn't trust it too much if I were you. It could end up depressing you or put your central nervous system out of whack.
