Missed Birth Control Pills

I take Ortho-Tri-Cyclen and I missed 4 pills in a row: days 8-11. I just took them all this morning and now I am bleeding.

What now?

Could I have gotten pregnant at all?

When will I stop bleeding?

I am waiting for a call from my doctor.

did you ever hear the saying " never double up"? or in your case, never quadruple up?

Jesus christ.

actually with birth control if you miss one you're supposed to double up the next day.

but if you miss more than one, you're supposed to just stop until you get your period and then start a new pack.

at least that's what the directions said in the 2313214325454243 different kinds of the pill i was on.

i can't believe you're not feeling sick. whenever i would double up i would get really nauseous and loopy.

and yes you could've gotten pregnant in that time. any time you miss a pill you run a higher risk of getting pregnant.

hopefully your doctor will call you soon. i hope you feel better.

I double up a lot and I always feel fine. I cannot believe I missed four of them! I actually do feel kinda sick. Sucks having the bleeding too! Do you know how long that would last? Doctor said I just have to use a condom and take the rest of the birth control as normal. If I am bleeding already though, then I probably didn't get pregnant out of the four days, right?
