My doctor has arranged for me to have bereavement councilling in two weeks time. I just wondered if anyone has had this before? And whether it helped at all?

Bereavement councilling meaning although we will be going over other things, the main subject of my councilling will be the death of my grandad, and hopefully the counciller will try and help me stop grieveing to a certain extent and move on from my mourning.

Is it worth going too do you think?

i had bereavement counselling very briefly when my mum died - it was a little strange, so be prepared to feel suddenly shy, but it sounds like you need it and are prepared to benefit from it, so i hope it goes well
