I want to try out something, give me your opinion

first of all I think it's completely unhealthy for the body and the soul to be 8 hours a day sitted in front of a computer working seven days a week in the type of job I have.

I can feel my belly getting bigger and my legs getting wobblier by the minute. I used to be a person that walked like for hours, every day, I don't have a car, but now that I'm stuck in the same position all day long well I don't do that anymore.

I was thinking of going up on the elevator and stopping 5 stories before my floor, and walk up the stairs up to my office and that would be like an excercise. Is it a good idea or will I drop dead from a heatattack???

I'm 23 by the way.

Walking up 5 flights of stairs will not give you a heart attack... that is unless you have some kind of heart condition to begin with. I'm just thinking though, walking up 5 flights takes what, 10 minutes? They say you need at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise a day. So I doubt that 10 minute walk up the stairs would be enough to make a difference.

good idea, but you probably need to vigorously climb them/run to get some good exercise going.
