| Anxiety attacks + caffeine? There's already been 100000 threads about anxiety, but I have a specific question.
About a year ago I had depression and really bad anxiety attacks, when I completely stopped sleeping for a week (cause they always happened at night) and only could sleep again after I got on some tranquilisers.
ANd then as my dissertation was due I started taking guarana (natural source of caffeine) and red bull and whatever to finish it in a week that was left and ended up taking all that in the morning and then tranquiliser in the evening that obviously fucked me up even more.
Anyway, I somehow managed not to fail my degree and then stopped the caffeine intake completely, not even black tea, anxiety attacks eventually went away (almost), I got off the tranquilisers.
But now I have to start a very demanding job and I don't really have energy at all, it's raining every day and all I want to do is to sleep and can't concentrate, so I thought maybe start taking guarana again for a while to boost the energy level (vitamins don't help), but I'm really scared it's gonna bring the anxiety attacks back. I certainly can't afford them now.
What do I do???
