braces

Ok, so I had some for nearly 10 years and I quit using (is that the right word?) them 2 years ago. My front teeth are starting to get really crooked again, so do you think I should ask my dentist to make some new braces for me? Am I too old for that at age 20? I would only wear them at night, though, so it wouldn't bother me too much.

20 is definitely not too old, if that's what you want to do. Plenty of adults get braces.

Yeah...it's like the 10 years I wore braces were absolutely useless cos my teeth are still so crooked! It's annoying.

didn't they give you a retainer or anything to keep them in line after you got your braces off?

when i got my braces off, i had a retainer that i was supposed to wear for like two years. of course i never did, and my teeth have moved slightly, but not to the point where i'd need braces again.

No, I got nothing. And I threw away my braces cos they didn't look too good after years of wearing them
