DyingTonight is on a distinguished road
Abilify experiences?

I started it this week for bipolar treatment. So far it has made me incredibly nauseous, dizzy, weak, and very achy. I can't sleep because I feel so miserable. I'm in a manic stage so I want to get up and do a million things, but I feel too shitty to get out of bed, which is driving me crazy. Does this go away? I'm thinking I won't be staying on this medication. Anyone else here have experience with it?

i don't have any experience with it, but i'm glad you posted this because my therapist recommended it for me a few weeks ago to help with my depression.

i was unsure about it so i told her i'd think it over...

hopefully people will post some info for us!

i'm wondering what kinda of changes it makes in your personality and mood and if people that are on it think it's worth it.

also, can you drink while you're on it?

goodluck to you, dyingtonight. i hope you feel better! i've heard that a lot of sideaffects can wear off after a couple weeks...

I take it for mild schizophrenia. It has definitely helped me mood-wise, no secret voices at least. It's very expensive, though, and I'm lucky to get a "doctor in the family" discount. Bottles go up to like $500. Crazy (no pun intended).

Worst experience of my life.
