Do you eat food that's past it's 'use by' date?
How far out of date would you go?

actually, most of the food we serve at the shelter is out of date..........stores donate some out of date stuff along with with some good stuff..........we don't get any type of government funding, purely private donations........pretty rough, but yeah, I eat it too.........I haven't been sick yet

Depends. If it says "use by" I generally don't eat it past the date because however much that food cost, its not worth the food poisoning. If it says Best Before, I'll try it whatever the case. If its horrible, I'll spit it out. Eggs always say Best Before and I ate one a month outside of that the other day and it was fine.

No. NO. Never. I'm scared of vomiting.
