| | | Breast Augmentation i'm going under the knife in Feb. (i think) for a totally legit reason, and i figure while i'm under.. why can't they do a boob job too? my mother said she'd pay for the boob job as sortof a reward for enduring the other surgery.. and i'm pretty much thinking about it.
i havent gone in for a consult, because i know if i do, the doctor will make me feel like i have awful needy boobs and MUST have a boob job, and i want to get my shit straight before going in.
anyway, i know about having to replace them, and what they feel like, etc. but i'm wondering if anyone who's had a boob job could tell me more about the healing process and how long/painful it is, and what sortof scarring you had? also, did your nipples feel dead aftwords? or still normal?
i'd plan on doing the one that they do through your belly button, so i don't scar.
opinions from those who've done it?

| | | I don't want to be the first person to say, "Pics plz."
I'll leave that to Zeke.
How old are you? If you don't mine me asking. If you're under 30 I wouldn't recommend getting a boob job yet. Your boobs might grow a little more. Dr.90210 told me so. There were other reasons, but I need Ginkgo Biloba before I give you any more advice. |

| | | I didn't think big boobs had the hype around them like they did in the early nineties. I know men still like them on porn stars and on Pam, but do they really want fake ones on their girlfriend? I think they're a thing of the past. It certainly seems that most fashions are designed without large breast in mind.
Yes, I know not all implants have to be huge, but regardless, I just think it's not worth it. Every woman I saw come out of surgery on those reality shows was in tears.
I'm not trying to mock you at all. Though unless you've had a mastectomy or something similar, I don't think implants are a wise investment. Let your mom buy you a car, same price right? |

| | | i'm 21.
i asked that my parents use the money to pay off some of my car, and my dad is the one who helped finance that, so it's a 'no'.
i dont know.. i dont want bigger boobs.. i just want different boobs? i dont especially care for the shape/texture of my boobs i guess (not that i hate them, or would ever think of getting a boob job outside of the fact that it's free and i'm already going to be on the table, totally knocked out). so i dont know if they can like, remove the regular breast and put in a fake one?
it sounds bizarre.
i'm not posting pictures of my own tits, but i'll try to find similar ones online, and post those.

| | | is the other operation you're having on your breasts?
i'm not sure if they can do it at the same time otherwise. i think it's unlikely. i had a laparoscopy for endometriosis earlier this year and i asked if they could whip out my appendix at the same time. they said that wasn't possible, despite the fact that the appendix is removed by the same type of surgery.
i really don't see the point in having a boob job if you don't want bigger boobs! the shape and texture of fake boobs is often uneven, and they really will feel fake to the touch. they can go hard and lumpy and all sorts. also the size might not end up being the same as you are now. if it ended up a little bigger or smaller, would that be ok?
apparently it is very painful as well. having undergone surgery for a legit reason, i don't think i'd ever have surgery for cosmetic reasons. (i'm a 30a bust, it had crossed my mind before).
it will be hard recuperating from your other surgery, why put your body through even more stress and pain? | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
