Well, I've never used one...and I keep reading about how terrible they are etc.

But I think my reasons for wanting to use them are different from most people...Let's put it this way, I have the normal clear discharge that women are supposed to have...but...sometimes and especially during sex, I have WAAAAYYY too much of it.
So much to the point that I don't get a lot out of sex...I can barely feel a thing during intercourse.

OK, I feel stupid for admitting that...but I want to know, is it ok to use for this purpose? Will it even help?

Also is there a safe way to use them?

as far as i know unless a doctor prescribes one w/ a certain medication it to correct a certain problem they should not be used at all under any circumstances
from what i understand they mess up the balance of things in your vagina and i imagine would cause more problems for you in the long run

yeah, like you said-i'm almost positive they get the balances of good and bad bacteria in your vagina completley out of whack and it can cause alot of infections and stuff

How much is "waaaaayyy" too much during sex? Because it's a known fact that when you're horny, you get wetter than normal. Like, do you leak all over the bed or something?
If you say you feel almost nothing during sex, could it be that you just can't get off by vaginal penetration? Cos that's super common.

If it's none of these things than you should probably see your doctor or gyno for advice.
