    All well and good. I don't mind a squid ring if it's done right. If it's all rubbery, then the beautiful creature really did die for nothing...
    But onion rings are better.

My opinion on calamari is that eating them would never ever cross my mind, since those animals, as well as octopuses, are way too beautiful and intelligent to be eaten by my vulgar human self. I guess this is very predictable from me, isn't it? ;-) No, I can see the arguments coming, about the value of one's life despite their intelligence, for example. It also looks rubbery, indeed. I would rather have a million onion rings than a single calamari ring.
