I searched for the tour dates and there doesn't seem to be anything planned for Montreal, or even North America! Please then enjoy it for both of us, would you?
As for The Horrors, I never heard their material before, do you have their beloved first album to share by any chance? Emmy has en incredible melancholy in her voice, there sould be a warning sticker for heavy hearts. I put some tracks in the loveletters thread that are special to me. :-)
if jarvis plays near you do try to go. i saw him when i was 17 waaaay back on the this is hardcore tour. i danced like a wanker and was so trashed but i think this time i might be more composed and the songs mean so much more to me now.
the horrors song is so wonderful. i did not love the last album at all except for who can say but i adored the first album. i might like this new one though. it is just worlds apart from what they have done before.
and oui to cults. i have no idea who they are or where they came from but the album is quite grand. so excited for the new emmy! i think that girl has been the soundtrack to far too many of my meltdown/heartbreaks.
have you found any amazing music lately?
ms dentyne without sounding like a **** i am jealous of myself a bit too i think. i think i get to go twice as my ex husband was making noises about buying me a ticket for my birthday to see them in sydney too. i may die of happy. i saw them in the 90s but i am wiser now and know more what it will mean to me.
i put a few more songs in the loveletters thread. i think you might like cults. not sure about the others though.
