I live in Hull and we have an aerosol products factory
alot of my student friends have worked there in their holidays and they told me most products they make - anything from john frieda to boots own brand - all have more or less the same ingredients but just a different smell added to them! shocking. It's just all about packaging and marketing.

On a similar, yet different note, Hull also has a cake factory which i worked in the office once.
I was assistant buyer and ordered in all the sugars and flour and all the shit that goes into a cake.
Again, our Asda own brand cakes had basicly the same ingridients as the 'quality' cakes we made. For example at the time that 'bugs life' film was out and we did all the novelty cakes for that, using the same ingridients as the own brand cakes which would retail for about £10 less simply because they didnt have pictures of bugs on the packaging!

i already believe this. although i do believe there are varying degrees. some products truly are shittier than others, but the high-end products probably aren't any better than the best of the mid-grade. or maybe i just tell myself this since i can't afford (or refuse to pay for) the most expensive products.

im just wiating for someone to come with some evidence to try prove me wrong. i want to be wrong! i think it would be tragic if im right. and also hilariously funny.
