I was meant to be having cosmetic surgery when I was younger, to remove a weird raised red mark on my nose. But then I fell off my bike and bashed my face on a wall and the mark just fell off. |

Yeah it's not as bad as it sounds, it was a raised bump less than half a centimetre in diameter, and when I hit my face on the wall half the skin on my nose got scraped off, including the bit with the weird bump. And then it just never came back, and never scarred. Could have saved a lot of time in hospital appointments if I'd known that all I had to do was throw myself at a wall. |

| | | Well, I have braces purely for vanity reasons, I don't really need them. They look horrific, I hate them but I hope my teeth will be nice soon! |

Does it show now? I met a girl once who had four fingers on one hand(it looked cute actually), she said she'd prefer to have four on the other one too.
When I was 16/17 three girls I knew had ear surgery.
I'd love to yank out my big front teeth and replace them with nice small ones. |

| | | I had three different braces and now a fixed retainer over the last ten years if that counts.
I also had actual plastic surgery with an actual plastic surgeon where I went into a hospital and had and anesthetic and everything. To remove a cyst on my chin (so you could argue corrective rather than cosmetic) which was of no health risk - it just ruined the silohette of my face. And the surgeon offered it to me pro bono (same as with my braces, offered to me free of charge since I had a "serious dental disfigurement hahaha") so I thought I might as well take him up on it.
I'd love lipo and a boob job but thats just a little silly.... |

| | I've had mole removal too. I went to get reffered to get it taken off for vanity resons, but because it was big and irregular they thought there was a chance it was cancer So I got bumped up the waiting list and had it done super quick. Thankfully it wasnt cancerous. The scar turned into a raised bump after although it is slowly shrinking it will probably be years before the scar goes. |

They inject a local anaesthetic into the area, wait a little until it’s numb then get a scalpel and cut it off. The worst part is when they cauterise the wound after, burning blood and flesh is such a lovely smell (not). It was rather sore for a couple of weeks, but once the scab fell off it had completly healed. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
