Bright red hair

I currently dye my hair this colour:

Using this brand:

I've found that its not as bright as I want it to be, so I was wondering whether or not putting manic panic OVER the red dye would make it brighter, or whether it will make no difference.

I would bleach my hair and just used manic panic - but my hair is totally fucked from so much bleaching that I daren't.

This is the manic panic dye that I would use:

I just have issues with the normal hair dye fading quite quickly - I thought using manic panic would be a healthier way of redying it without completely ammonia-ing the fuck out of it.

it will probably help top up the dark red but it wont make it any brighter semi permanant dye isnt that great unless you amonia the fuck out of your hair first

Why can't hair just heal itself?

Life would be so much easier.
