| | | Bright red hair I currently dye my hair this colour:
Using this brand:
I've found that its not as bright as I want it to be, so I was wondering whether or not putting manic panic OVER the red dye would make it brighter, or whether it will make no difference.
I would bleach my hair and just used manic panic - but my hair is totally fucked from so much bleaching that I daren't.
This is the manic panic dye that I would use: http://www.manicpanic.com/best%20hai...ampirered.html |

| | | I just have issues with the normal hair dye fading quite quickly - I thought using manic panic would be a healthier way of redying it without completely ammonia-ing the fuck out of it. |

| | | It couldn't hurt to put some manic panic over your current red color... it might make the color more vibrant. As long as you aren't bleaching it again, it won't damage it too much. |

| | | usually people bleach the hell out of their hair before dying it so it can be bright. it would strip your hair though. |

| | | i've done that & it did make my hair a lot brighter. i used fudge rather than manic panic but it would probably have the same result. i found it was brighter if i let the permanent red fade a bit first. |

Haven't trieds it, but I've been told.
