| | | Spaghetti hair.... Okay so I went to get my hair trimmed a few weeks ago, and my hair dresser told me that I have "spaghetti hair", I was like wtf...so she told me this part of my hair(the ends) has no body, nothing, just dead hair. She took the ends and just pinched and pulled and a ****load of hair came out.
I dye my hair a lot, so I just dyed my hair blonde(it was red), you know stripped it and everything, then bleached. So I knew that my hair would be completely ****ed up afterwards, but I just couldn't be red any longer. I went and evaluated my hair in the mirror afterwards and pulled on it, and chunks came out. So I trimmed it up myself and tried to get all the "spaghetti hair' out.
What I need to know is if anyone else has had this problem, and how do i fix it...HELP PLEASE!!! |

I used to dye my hair a lot when I was a teenager, repeatedly, and it broke off a lot. Bleaching literally broke most of the hair on my crown off. (It did grow back, but damn it was a bad look.) I basically had to cut it all off and start over, and I stopped dyeing it. I would suggest going to a hairdresser, getting a deep conditioning treatment (because it might help it feel softer), and getting a haircut to get all of the damage out. Using a deep conditioner daily may help with the texture as well.

| | | when i bleached my hair too much that happened to mine.
try not to dye it for a while. get a shampoo & conditioner for dry/damaged hair. get a deep conditioning treatment to use once or twice a week. and get a leave in conditioner.
i'm really surprised that your hairdresser didn't recommend some products for you. |

| | | Yeah you just need to stop dying it so much from now on. There's no point of dying it a nice color if it's going to be all fried and damaged. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
