you should use a gentle exfoliant on your face, but if you're talking about body scrubs i like neutrogena's energizing citrus scrub. after a shower i turn off the water, towel off, and rub the scrub all over. if my skin's too wet, the granules just dissolve. then i jump back in the shower and rinse off. feels gooooood...

i've never used the clarins gentle exfoliating refiner on dry skin. how can you stand it? i need to apply it when my skin is damp. anyway, thats what i was going to recommend. for more intense exfoliation, i use la prairie's cellular microdermabrasion cream and/or natura bisse's glyco peeling.

It's been a while since I've been able to afford it, but if I remember correctly, it says on the packaging to massage it on cleansed, DRY skin.

I suppose it doesn't make much of a difference, though.

Great product anyways.
