| | | Zeno Acne Device It's this little electronic gadget that supposedly zaps oncoming pimples with direct heat. -> myzeno.com
Anyone ever tried it?
I am 25 and still have a zit problem, but not enough that I would take prescription pills for it. This gadget sounds interesting and I wouldn't mind the cost if I knew it was going to work for a long time. However the idea of paying for a replacement tip after every 'x' number of uses makes me think it is a scam.
What do you guys think? |

| | | i would asume that it would probably burn alot. if i were you i would just go to the dermatologist and they would probably give you something like a perscription face wash and spot treatment because your acne isn't that bad. |

| | | that sounds absolutely rediculous.
to kill the bacteria in acne through heat you probably need temperatures that would do so much damage to your skin that it'd be counter-productive anyway.
plus you just have to look at the website to realise its another glamourised piece of shit that you'll blow $200 on or however much. |

| | | The thingg is, they sell this thing on Amazon.com and I read the consumer reviews, which were mostly good.
However, there is nothing that tells me these reviews are fake, you know?
You guys are probably right. This thing is prbably too good to be true.... *sigh* |

| | | My friend has it and said it hurts like a motherfucker. It works though, but not if your face is full of acne, but if you have a few stray pimples lurking around. |

| | | Does she find the cost is worth it?
I guess it depends on how many "stray pimples" you have huh?
What about that Pro-Active stuff? Anyone here ever try that?? |

| | | Well, ProActiv works for some people, but not everyone. I don't know how that is, but go figure. I use AcneFree. It's a knockoff ProActiv, I suppose. It works but it dries out my skin and I still get zits. But I have less than before.
Most 3-step systems work quite well, though.
A good idea is to go to clinique.com, take a diagnostic skin test and there you go. Or you can go to CVS and buy the CVS Neutrogena knockoffs (they have the same exact ingredients). Oil free acne cleanser, astringent, lotion. In that order. |
