| I used the olay vitamins that come in the packs with 4 vitamins. I think they were "total effects" or something. Nothing amazing happened but they did have a lot of things in them that are supposed to be good for you anyways.
Proactiv is pretty harsh. If your skin looks great you don't need to use it. Plus, a lot of people say it makes them break out worse. My recommendation for dealing with proactiv is not to use the cleanser on a twice-daily basis, because it's basically a scrub. Get a nice, gentle foaming cleanser (like the olay foaming sensitive skin cleanser, i love that one) to use as your cleanser and use the proactiv one every other day or so as an exfoliant.
But, if you have great skin, which I'm not sure you will because packaging lies, you should keep it as simple as possible. Use a gentle cleanser, a gentle alcohol-free toner, and a moisturizer/sunscreen. If you want to even out your skin, use an alpha hydroxy acid moisturizer at night. |
