i had this done twice about a year and a half ago, and stopped one i found out that they use embalming fluid or some ****.

ever since then i notice that my hair is dull and lacks the shine and body that it used to have.
i have very fine wavey/curly hair depending on the humidity. my barber is the one that pointed out to me that my texture is ****ed up and that my bouffant isnt as full as it used to be. he reminds me every time i see him and he makes me feel bad as if i ****ed up his head of hair.

has anyone experienced the same aftermath? if so, is there a way to reverse the damage?

****ing formaldehyde.

my hair started getting funny a couple years ago and i was hoping it would fix itself. it started but got reversed by a goldwell product my stylist told me would do my hair amazing things. (that's what i get for stepping out on my organic hair product and stylist.)

there are new treatments without the formaldehyde. i was told i would benefit from one, especially with all the humid that the air brings.
i'm letting my hair recover from the goldwell and will then consider the treatment.
(it's called bio ionic)

did it get funny from the Brazilian or some other treatment?

my ****z so frizzy and fluffy. i just shampoo, no conditioner or products, because of the fact that my hair is fine, any oil or grease makes my hairs flat and oily within hours.
maybe i should old school hot oil vo5 treat it.
